Dataplane · Independent consulting in data, systems and automation

Somewhere in your business, a capable person is doing a computer’s job.

You can probably picture them: good at their job, but bogged down in unrelenting admin. You know there’s a better way; you’ve just never had the right team to make it happen.

We believe people do their best work when systems carry more of the burden. Why waste your sharpest minds on work a system could carry? We bring the tools; they bring the context. Then the magic starts.

What changes

Less admin. More momentum.

You already know that your best people are the ones with the least patience for wasted time. The ones who can tolerate it indefinitely aren’t the ones you’re worried about losing. When we automate the routine work, you get the person you hired back: the ideas, the initiative, the hunger.

How we work with you

Start with the people carrying the heaviest loads.

  1. 01 / WATCH THE REAL WORK

We watch your people work, and they show us what slows them down. It’s surprisingly quick to figure out what to improve.

  2. 02 / REWORK AND AUTOMATE

We find the hidden bottlenecks and rework the processes built a generation ago. The routine gets automated while the decisions stay with your people.

  3. 03 / PROVE IT

The new process runs beside the old until the numbers agree, monitored daily and formally evaluated after two weeks. No leap of faith required — the switchover is the boring part.

  4. 04 / RINSE AND REPEAT

We keep extending the automations while you decide which person — or whole department — to free up next.

Track record

Clients tend to stay.

Data work requires enormous trust — choose your partner carefully. We build long-term relationships where we get more valuable with time: we try our best to, and are yet to fail at, adding more value to our clients as the years pass. Our longest client relationship is in its sixteenth year. And there’s never any lock-in — you can cancel within 30 days. You won’t, but you absolutely can.

We don’t take on new clients who compete against our existing ones, and we don’t publish our client base. The work is too sensitive to support competing organisations, and we are selective in who we support with our services.

All you need is a problem you want solved

Solving your problems brings us joy — and having fewer problems will likely bring you joy, too. Seems like a good deal? Let’s see how we can work together.
